Due to the new items coming with 6.9 and the changes to the existing ones you want to get 20% scaling CDR, 20% from items and so on. I used to think that 10% scaling with the occasional blue buff is fine, but as far as my testing and experience with playing the 20% route goes the results were MUCH MUCH BETTER simply because i had my up at almost every teamfight regardless of how often i had blue buff or not. You have much less to worry about whether it is worth using full combo on your target or not. You might think Zac gets too squishy with these for clearing jungle but it actually improves his clear speed greatly which means that you will survive the jungle either way.</div> <div class="p2"> <br /></div> <div class="p1"> EDIT: If you haven't noticed, I switched from recommending oppressor to bounty hunter (Ferocity row 4). The reason for that is the fact that your never gets the 2,5% bonus damage, yet is the strongest burst skill in your kit. For that reason it is much more recommendable to go the bounty hunter route because even with just two kills you are consistently doing more damage than with oppressor. Having a total of 5% increase lategame definitely makes up for the little damage you might have missed early game.</div> <div class="p1"> Your does the most damage to jungle creeps early game and has the lowest cooldown. However leveling it up does not have any benefits except for bigger flat % damage and bigger flat magic damage. I’ve started playing League in season 2 as mid/jungle main and I’ve sticked to these 2 roles throughout all the years I play this game. I’ve reached challenger at the start of season 3 and played tons of games at high-elo with tons of success ever since.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>Lee Sin</b> was one of my early pick-ups and he’s remained as my main and my go-to pick even to this day. Honestly I just simply love this champion’s kits and deep skill-cap, he’s one of the reasons I could keep having lots of fun while playing League even after so many games over the years.</div> <div class="p2"> That’s exactly why I’m writing this guide – both to share my love and admiration for the champion and to teach you as much as possible using my knowledge, which comes from thousands of games as Lee on high-elo.</div> <div class="p2"> <br /></div> <div class="p1"> <b>LEE SIN IN GENERAL</b></div> <div class="p2"> Lee is <b>one of the most versatile, fun and skill-capped</b> champions in the game. No matter what the situation is you’ll usually have plenty of ways it can play out – some better than the others. <b>There’s nearly endless depth to this champion’s skill-cap</b>, for example – <b>amateur Lee</b> player would just simply <i>Q+E+Q+auto attack+R</i> his opponent while <b>expert Lee</b> would do <i>auto attack+Q+auto attack+E+auto attack+R+auto attack+Q+auto attack</i> to put out maximum possible DPS while also mind gaming you into thinking that you’ve got a chance to escape with <i>Flash</i> over the wall for which he’ll have few counter-measures prepared: ulting you sideways or behind, following with <i>Resonating Strike</i>, <i>Ward Jump</i> or his own <i>Flash</i>. </div> <div class="p2"> This is exactly why <b>you shouldn’t ever get discouraged by bad outcomes</b> while learning Lee Sin. Focus only on your own mistakes, take every failure and loss as a chance to learn – even a game with troll or afk can be productive that way! </div> <div class="p2"> <br /></div> <div class="p1"> <b>RUNES FOR BLIND MONK</b></div> <div class="p2"> </div> <div class="p2"> Runes are fairly straight-forward. Attack Speed will be nearly always more DPS efficient than Attack Damage for Quints – think of Attack Speed as a multiplier of your AD in terms of DPS. AS Quints will outscale AD ones at about level 3-4 or even level 2 if you’ll start with red buff, which reapplies the flat damage with each hit. That’s why you should try to chain at least 1 auto between your spells in order not to run out of energy.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>Q – Sonic Wave/Resonating Strike  </b><br /> Things worth noting here are that the first cast detects invisible units for 3 seconds and after hitting it you’ve got 3 seconds to recast it, that’s why you should be very patient with this spell – sometimes you’ll be able to follow up a <i>Flash</i> with your <i>Resonating Strike</i> instead of using a <i>Ward Jump</i> or your own <i>Flash</i>.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>W – Safe Guard/Iron Will</b><br /> <i>Safeguard</i>‘s cooldown gets greatly reduced if cast on yourself or your ally so always try not to cast it on minion/ward/other unit if not necessary. Also keep in mind that this ability can be cast on any ally unit – that doesn’t exclude things like Zyra’s Plants, Zac’s Passive Blobs, Jarvan’s Flag etc.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>E – Tempest/Cripple</b><br /> <i>Tempest</i> also detects invisible champions, but in AoE and for 4 seconds. It also leaves you with 3 seconds to recast your E. Good use of this spell will be casting it instead of using one auto while chasing enemy down or patiently waiting with <i>Cripple </i>activation until the enemy starts running away.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>R – Dragon’s Rage</b><br /> Every enemy champion struck by the kicked target will receive additional damage based on ulted target’s max health, which means that the enemy ADC hit with a tank can nearly get 100-0ed even with your off-tank build. Also target cannot cast anything mid-flight after getting kicked.</div> <div class="p2"> <br /></div> <div class="p1"> <b>ITEM BUILDS FOR LEE SIN</b></div> <div class="p3"> <b>LEE SIN IN EARLY GAME</b></div> <div class="p2"> You’ll always start out with <i>Machete </i>and <i>Refillable Potion</i><b>.</b> Your first buy should always be<i>Challenging Smite Upgrade</i> before anything else and then <i>Red Warrior Enchantment </i>(you can buy<i>tier 1 boots</i> after <i>Red Smite Upgrade </i>and 2 <i>Long Swords</i>. If you’ll face lots of magic damage you can also rush <i>Hexdrinker </i>after <i>Red Warrior</i> and <i>tier 1 boots</i><b>.</b></div> <div class="p3"> <b>LEE SIN IN MIDDLE GAME</b></div> <div class="p2"> After completing <i>Warrior </i>you’ll either get <i>Black Cleaver</i> and then upgrade boots to tier 2 (either<i>Merc’s </i>or <i>Ninja Tabis </i>depending on the enemy team) or buy these 2 items the other way around, usually only when you’ll get behind / will face alot of physical auto attackers (<i>Ninja Tabis</i>) or Magic Damage / CC (<i>Mercury Threads</i>).</div> <div class="p2"> Afterwards everything is up to the enemy team comp, but items like <i>Sterak’s</i> and <i>Maw</i> combo will be your usual go-to among with <i>Randuim’s Omen</i> – this trio of items will grant you survivability against nearly everything.</div> <div class="p3"> <b>SITUATIONAL ITEMS FOR LEE SIN</b></div> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li2"><b><i>Dead Man’s Plate over Randuim’s</i></b> – Only when you’ll face AD-casters instead of usual crit-based ADC (<i>Varus, Ez</i> etc.).</li> <li class="li2"><b><i>Thornmail</i></b> – Against 2+ Auto Attack based champions (any normal, crit-based adc + <i>Yasuo</i>), usually in combo with <i>Ninja Tabis </i>and <i>Randuim’s </i>+ <i>Sterak’s</i>.</li> <li class="li2"><b><i>Banshee’s/Spirit Visage/Locket of Iron Solari</i> </b>– These items with <i>Maw</i>, which will be surely bought in that scenario, are your good friends against lots of Magic Damage. Usually <i>SV</i> will be the best out of the 3, but sometimes you’ll have to be the one buying <i>Locket</i> instead of your support or you’ll maybe opt for <i>Banshee’s</i> in order to enable yourself to do some crazy engages against multum of CC in the enemy team.</li> <li class="li2"><b><i>Mercurial/QSS</i></b> – Against things like <i>Malza/WW/Skarner</i> ulti targeted at you.</li> <li class="li2"><b><i>Guardian Angel</i> </b>– Good 6th item for that one game-deciding late game team fight.</li> <li class="li2"><b><i>Titanic Hydra/Frozen Mallet</i> </b>– These are good additional off-tank options if you are ahead.</li> <li class="li2"><b><i>Ravenous Hydra/Last Whisper items</i></b> – These are your options when you are 1-man carrying the game. </li> </ul> <div class="p4"> <span class="s1"><a href="https://boosteria.org/wp-content/uploads/Lee-sin-guide-by-master-player.jpg"><b><br /> </b></a></span> </div> <div class="p1"> <b>LEE SIN’S MATCH UPS</b></div> <div class="p2"> Lee has barely any bad matchups, <b>his bigger counter-play is picking brainless champions which have little to nothing in their kits that can be failed/outplayed</b> (think <i>Irelia, Jax, Shyvana</i>). On the other hand Lee has tons of good matchups which he can be picked into as a hard-counter to the specific champion, here are some of those:</div> <div class="p2"> <b>Invisible champions </b><i>(Rengar, Shaco, Akali, Kha, Talon, Twitch)</i><br /> Lee is the biggest counter to stealth due to detection with his Q and E. When you see these champions picked by the enemy team you shouldn’t even hesitate to pick him as a counter.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>Escapeless laners </b><i>(Soraka, Ryze etc.)</i><br /> Champions with little to no escape mechanisms will be very easy targets to camp by repeatedly ganking.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>Magic Damage team comps</b><br /> Because Lee Sin has such a great synergy with the strongest MR items (mainly <i>Hexdrinker</i>, <i>Maw</i> and<i>Spirit Visage</i>) he will automatically do well against any type of Magic Damage based team comp, I’m talking here about at least 2 Magic Damage dealers (<i>Elise</i> jungle + <i>Ahri</i> mid for example).</div> <div class="p2"> <b>Junglers vulnerable to counter-jungling and invading</b><i> (Kha, Rengar, Amumu, Jarvan, Fiddle, Yi)</i><br /> Alot of Lee Sin will come down to controlling objectives and counter-jungling and these champions will be especially abusable in that aspect which will only multiply your early game impact.</div> <div class="p2"> <br /></div> <div class="p4"> <br /></div> <div class="p1"> <b>MECHANICS OF LEE SIN</b></div> <div class="p2"> There quite a few Lee in-game mechanics that you’ll have to learn in order to improve. Since there is no Sandbox mode in League, your best option will be going onto a custom game, rushing 45% CDR (you’ll have to spend points into middle mastery tree to get additional 5% CDR) and practicing everything there until you’ll be confident that you’ll be able to pull it off at least 9 out of 10 times.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>Ward Jump </b><br /> This one isn’t about the fact whether you can or can not perform it, it’s about how smooth and quickly can you do it. Tips I’ve got for you here are:</div> <ol class="ol1"> <li class="li2"><b>Smart Casting</b> your <i>Safeguard</i> and <i>Trinket</i></li> <li class="li2"><b>Having Trinket</b> and <i>Safeguard</i> bound optimally (for me it’s W for <i>Safeguard</i> and T for <i>Trinket</i>, in my opinion, if these commands are in the same row of keys on your keyboard, it’s gonna be slightly easier to pull off than on default 4).</li> <li class="li2"><b>Learning the exact range</b> of <i>Safeguard</i> and <i>Trinket</i>. This is the biggest difference and the most important trait of the good<b> Lee Sin</b> player – you must have exact ranges of <i>Trinket Ward</i> and<i>Safeguard</i> literally burned into your mind in order to pull off this combo optimally (for beginners, remember that <i>Trinket</i> range is slightly lower than Safeguard’s).</li> </ol> <div class="p2"> <b>Clean Dragon’s Rage into Resonating Strike </b><br /> It seems pretty easy to pull off but it is not at all. Your ult’s mechanic makes your enemy unnable to cast anything from the casting of spell until he lands so if you’ll cast <i>Sonic Wave</i> onto him, <b>you’ll hit it 10/10 times</b>. The hard thing about that will be teaching your muscle memory to immediately stop all mouse movement while casting your R, if you’ll cast <i>Sonic Wave</i> afterwards then it will be always sure to hit that way.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>Optimal jungle clear</b><br /> Attack Speed buff from your passive for next 2 auto attacks should always be abused while clearing the jungle. If your remaining 2 basic spells are still on 3+ second cooldown then you shouldn’t double tap your spell, but instead use the first cast, auto attack twice and only then use the second cast. This will both <b>keep your energy up</b> and make you rarely ever clear jungle without passive’s bonus Attack Speed.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>Securing objectives</b><br /> <i>Resonating Strike</i> has got built-in execute mechanic which increases it’s damage based on target’s missing health, which is applied to every target. That’s why <b>while fighting enemy champions you should be patient</b> and delay your <i>Resonating Strike</i> to the last moment to do maximum damage and also abuse <i>Smite + Resonating Strike</i> to secure objectives. <i>Resonating Strike’s</i> total damage to large monsters like Red and Dragon starts off at around 200 at early levels up to 600-900 at later levels, all depending on your build path.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>Sustain in the jungle</b><br /> Lee Sin’s kit has a great sustain tool in his W. Every time you start a camp you <b>should shield yourself with <i>Safeguard</i> </b>and cast Iron Will after 2 auto attacks. Duration of <i>Iron Will</i> is your time to do as much DPS as possible to heal the most, example would be waiting 1 second for your W to be back on with Q already up to use it while Iron Will is on. Killing Scuttle Crab is a very good way to heal yourself up, exactly because of Iron Will.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>Animation Canceling</b><br /> <i>Sonic Wave</i>, <i>Tempest</i> and <i>Hydra</i> actives all cancel out animations which makes expert Lee players able to further enhance their damage output in a fashion very similar to what <i>Riven</i> does. Very important and often overlooked use of that is <i>auto attack+Tempest+Hydra active+auto attack combo</i>– a quick 4-hit combination often useful for wave clear. I’ve reached challenger at the start of season 3 and played tons of games at high-elo with tons of success ever since.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>Yasuo has been picked up by me at the day of his release</b> and has remained as my main and my go-to pick even to this day. Yasuo is my favourite champion in the game – I love everything about him, he’s got an unique feel to him, that makes you want to outplay everybody and be the last man standing after a huge teamfight. This champion’s kits and deep skill-cap are one of the reasons I could keep having lots of fun while playing League even after so many games over the years.</div> <div class="p2"> That’s exactly why I’m writing this guide – both to share my love and admiration for the champion and to teach you as much as possible using my knowledge, which comes from thousands of games as Yasuo on high-elo.</div> <div class="p2"> <br /></div> <div class="p1"> <b>YASUO IN LEAGUE OF LEGENDS</b></div> <div class="p2"> Yasuo definitely is one of the most fun champions in the game, but he’s also as hard to master as he is fun to play. <b>He’s endless skill-cap makes every situation you’re in a good way out</b>, but sometimes that will take insane amounts of skills and mind-gaming your opponent, nonetheless nearly everything is possible with proper Yasuo play. If you went into combat with amateur Yasuo he would probably Wind Wall sometime at the start and charge in mindlessly, spamming Qs and waiting for E+Q+R combo to get available while expert Yasuo would first of all keep enemy positioning at all times and make him move into a position from which he’ll be forced to use that one spell which he saves his Wind Wall for, moreover he would probably opt for combo with both more risk and much more DPS like auto attack+charged up Q+auto attack+R+Q+auto attack – as you can see the possibilities are nearly endless and both your skill and experience as a Yasuo player will come into these kinds of decisions on what to do, how to position yourself and how your enemy will move.</div> <div class="p2"> Just with like other very hard champions, you shouldn’t get discouraged by bad results.<b> Focus only on your own mistakes</b>, take every failure and loss as a chance to learn – even a game with troll or afk can be productive that way! </div> <div class="p2"> <br /></div> <div class="p1"> <b>RUNES FOR THE UNFORGIVEN</b></div> <div class="p2"> Runes come down to your build and enemy team:</div> <div class="p2"> AS vs AD marks – Your goal as a Yasuo player is to get 1,4 AS as soon as possible, because it minimizes your Q CD down to 1,33 second and AS marks are your big help here, but if you’ll opt for Berserker’s Greaves in your build you can go for AD marks instead, which will give you more lane dominance early on.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>Scaling and Flat Seals + Glyphs</b> – Purely up to your match-up<br /> Magic Damage Mid – <b>HP/level Seals + Flat MR Glyphs</b><br /> Physical Damage Mid – <b>Flat Armor Seals + MR/level Glyphs</b><br /> Physical Mid + Magic Damage early game jungler –<b> Flat Armor Seals + Flat MR Glyphs</b></div> <div class="p1"> <b>ADVANCED ABILITY TIPS</b></div> <div class="p2"> <b>Passive – Way of the Wanderer</b><br /> If you walk in straight lines your passive will charge up slightly quicker and also here’s a bit about his reduced criticals: his auto attack critical damage is 90% of base value, while Q’s is 75%, nonetheless Q deals a damage equal to your auto attack AD + 100 (at skill level 5). After applying some math to this formula everything you need to know is that Q will be better than your auto attack as long as your auto attacks deal damage (to real targets) below 300.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>Steel Tempest</b><br /> Your Q acts as an auto attack reset so it ramps up your DPS massively and with enough attack speed and reaction time you can even make it that your auto attack and Q are registered at the same time which pretty much makes it look like one auto attack with the damage of 2 auto attacks in the game</div> <div class="p2"> <b>Wind Wall</b><br /> It stops everything that can be count as a projectile, pretty much to any extent. Things like Orianna’s ball and Rumble ult stop at the spot where your Wind Wall begins and can’t go through it. Wind Wall also grants you vision of the terrain you cast it on. </div> <div class="p2"> <b>Sweeping Blade</b><br /> It’s damage stacks up so before trading in lane it’s very good to hit creeps twice with it and to pretty much try and keep the spell at 2 stacks at all times. Also it’s actual dash range can be extended if you are very close to the target you wanna dash to, because of that you can perform many various over-the-wall dashes which will very often save your life if used properly.</div> <div class="p2"> </div> <div class="p2"> <b>Last Breath</b><br /> Remember that your ulti grants you great buff which penetrates 50% of all target’s bonus armor (mastery included) and it also refreshes your passive shield. That is why you should pretty much always look to use your ulti at the start of the teamfight, this armor penetration buff is your late-game bread and butter against any kind of tank.</div> <div class="p1"> <b>ITEM BUILDS FOR YASUO</b></div> <div class="p2"> <b>YASUO IN EARLY GAME</b></div> <div class="p3"> You’ll pretty much always start with Doran’s + HP potion. Afterwards you’ll usually want another Doran’s Blade, because you won’t be getting more lifesteal for a long time. Your next buys will be Zeal and Phantom Dancer, if there will be a situation where you’ll be slightly short in gold for Phantom Dancer then you can buy tier 1 boots. If you’ll face multiple magic damage threats in the enemy team (let’s say Elise jungle + Lissandra mid) then you should rush Hexdrinker, you can even start with a Longsword + Refillable Potion and possibly buy it on the first recall, of course mid game upgrade it to Maw (after PD completion).</div> <div class="p2"> <b>YASUO IN EARLY GAME</b></div> <div class="p3"> Your choices start here:<br /> <b>Berserker’s Graves</b> if you went with AD marks and want full DPS or are just simply ahead<br /> <b>Ninja Tabi</b> versus physical damage (mainly 2+ auto attackers, example would be Caitlyn adc + Riven top)<br /> <b>Mercury Threads</b> against magic damage and/or CC, Mercury’s are my usual go-to, because hard CC is Yasuo’s biggest counter and you’ll be up against magic damage Mid most of the time anyway.</div> <div class="p3"> Afterwards start working on your IE (if you feel confident you can even complete your tier 2 boots AFTER IE). Here’s how you’ll calculate whether it’s better to buy crit or AD in-game while buying your IE:<br /> Cloak gives you 20% which is multiplied by your passive to give you 40% crit. 40% crit is equal in DPS value to about 40% of your AD, so if you’ll have choice between B.F. Usually <i>SV</i> will be the best out of the 3, but sometimes you’ll have to be the one buying <i>Locket</i> instead of your support or you’ll maybe opt for <i>Banshee’s</i> in order to enable yourself to do some crazy engages against multum of CC in the enemy team.</li> <li class="li2"><b><i>Mercurial/QSS</i></b> – Against things like <i>Malza/WW/Skarner</i> ulti targeted at you.</li> <li class="li2"><b><i>Guardian Angel</i> </b>– Good 6th item for that one game-deciding late game team fight.</li> <li class="li2"><b><i>Last Whisper items</i></b> – These are your options when you are 1-man carrying the game.and the enemy stacks massive amounts of armor, Lord Dominik’s Regards is better item of the 2 options, because the tanks will usually be the armor stackers.</li> </ul> <div class="p2"> <br /></div> <div class="p3"> <b>YASUO MATCH UPS</b></div> <div class="p2"> Here’s a very important part of the guide – <b>YASUO SHOULDN’T EVER BE CONFIDENTLY BLIND PICKED IN CHAMPION SELECT</b>. This champion has got multum of counters and if your enemy is smart then he’ll just simply pick an impossible match-up, some people even go as far as to pick some bruiser from top lane and send him mid just to fuck you up completely, and that’s very smart and shouldn’t be considered tryharding – afterall we play rankeds to win games and champion select is part of the strategical aspect of League.</div> <div class="p3"> </div> <div class="p2"> To deduce when you should be picking Yasuo we simply can gloss over his kit and notice that Wind Wall is a spell with lots and lots of potential and situationally this will be your strongest spell, best tool for countering enemy spells and outplaying everyone. Even ninja tabis aren’t so great here.</div> <div class="p1"> <b>AP mids that are complete counters to Yasuo</b> – Vlad, Fizz, Kayle, Cho, Annie, Ekko, Azir, Akali, Diana, Swain</div> <div class="p1"> These 4 groups of champions should be avoided by you, if you’ll see them already picked it’s often very smart not to pick Yasuo into them. Even if you’ll get ahead their bare champion mechanics will limit what you can do in team fights by a large margin.</div> <div class="p1"> <br /></div> <div class="p2"> <b>MECHANICS OF YASUO</b></div> <div class="p1"> There are still few mechanics which I haven’t mentioned in the ability section. You should learn and master these if you want to improve as a Yasuo player. I suggest you go into a custom game and train there until you can get these down at least 9 out of 10 times you try to pull them off.</div> <div class="p3"> <span class="s1"><b>W + Q interaction</b><br /> </span><b>If you’ve got your Tornado charged up then you can use your W and Q immedietaly after to use a Q with no cast time. </b></div> <div class="p1"> <b>Perfect CSing</b><br /> If you auto attack and instantly E the target you pretty much hit it in the exact same moment, just as with your Q auto attack reset. You can use this in lane and pretty much never miss a last hit if you do this correctly, just keep practicing and you’ll get this down.</div> <div class="p1"> <b>R + Q intercation</b><br /> You can squeeze 1 Q in after using your ultimate, just before the enemies land on the ground. The easy way is to simply mash the Q button onto the mid-air enemy for the duration of R animation</div> <div class="p1"> <b>E Wall Jump</b><br /> You can jump to monsters through certain thin walls with your E, granted you have vision of the monster behind it. A way to grant yourself vision without using your trinket is simply casting W while standing as close to the wall as possible, Wind Wall will appear on the other side and grant you the vision to jump with your E. There are 4 spots to do this trick: 2 thin Raptor walls, 1 on Gromp and 1 on Krugs</div> <div class="p1"> <b>Positioning</b><br /> It’s not really that big of a mechanic, but on Yasuo it’s so important I couldn’t avoid talking about it. You can avoid so many deaths just by positioning yourself well and manipulating your enemies into moving where you want them to and then most probably outplaying them with your E dash. This is useful especially when somebody is ganking you – if you are getting approached from the direction you want to run (think getting ganked from behind in lane) then most of the times you can just walk up to the enemy and use him to launch yourself with E into safety.</div> <div class="p1"> <br /></div> <div class="p2"> <b>MID GAME STAGE</b></div> <div class="p1"> One of your important objectives as Yasuo in the mid-game will be tearing towers down. <b>Mid Lane T1 is your most important target</b> – it will deny vision to the enemy team and open up the jungle for your team to step in and take control of. Apart from that you should attend every single dragon fight and most of the small skirmishes, exception here would be a chance to push down a tower.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>LATE GAME STAGE</b></div> <div class="p1"> As you gather your items you’ll become a force to be reckoned with. <b>You’ll be capable of 1v1ing everyone who has anything you can soak up with your Wind Wall</b> and more and more tanks and bruisers as the game goes on, all depending on theirs and your build of course. Your main targets at team fights should be adc and then mid laner. Only exception to this rule should be where the mid is carrying harder and you can block him out with Wind Wall and pretty much 100-0 with your damage combo. Other than that every adc is your whipping boy – you can deny all of their DPS with a well placed wall and obviously there’s no way they can melee you.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>CONCLUSION</b></div> <div class="p2"> </div> <div class="p1"> If you want to see what League has to offer then you should play Yasuo. He’s an excellent benchmark to your set of skills as a player: raw mechanics, timing, knowledge of spell interactions and cooldowns, map awareness – as long as you’ll keep playing him you’ll improve in all of these areas! </div>

I reccomend you to pick ignite if you are in bronze, silver or gold since the enemy will not punish you properly for taking ignite. Taking ignite will <b>secure</b> your early game if properly used, early game being the most important phase of Fiora in the game and where she must shine. But in High Platinum+ I reccomend you to always take TP because you’ll be applying map pressure while being more capable of being secure in lane. Against ranged champions you would <b>always </b>want to pick tp <b>no matter the elo</b> since one of Fioras weaknesses is that she is a <b>very easily kitable champion</b>. Mastering how to land as much Vitals in laning phase as possible will make you win more games.</li> </ul> <div class="p3"> <b>FIORA IN TEAM FIGHTS</b></div> <div class="p2"> In teamfights, you will always want to burst the carry threat of the enemy team with your ult-(ignite), it can be their mid or ad depending who is the most fed. Against him always bring TP, play safe and cry for jungler ganks. If you are even at level 9, you can kill him when you get the upgraded sweeper.</li> </ul> <div class="p2"> <b>Pantheon</b>: <b>Extremely Hard – Biggest Fiora Counter in my opinion</b></div> <div class="p2"> </div> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li2">His passive is annoying because it pretty much makes your passive useless since you cant even proc vitals on him, also he will always beat you early game even if he is a very bad player, always. Against him the best thing you can do is take TP and ask bot for a laneswap. You can also farm on tower without dying until 6 and ask your jungler to gank and you should be able to kill him.</li> </ul>

In case the enemy leaves the lane after pushing the wave you should tell your team mates that they are missing so that they know what to expect. This is possible only if the enemy’s health is bigger than 75% since no one would pull off a gank with less health than that because of the possibility that they get counter ganked by the opposing jungler and they end up dying. Even if you are being constantly pushed in, you should still ward, but not in the same positions. When you are pushing the wave you should place offensive wards, in the enemy jungle, while when you are pushed you should place defensive wards in your own jungle. Neutral wards, the ones on river, are also important. If you group with your team to contest an objective than you should assume a defensive position if you are a mage, while if you are playing an assassin you should try to either flank your enemies, which can be very dangerous early in the game if you do not have the necessary wards, or you can be close to the frontline, enough to be able to engage the fight at the right time, but not enough for your enemies to be able to initiate the fight by landing crowd control on your champion. Having two split pushers against a team that has only one is great because if they send someone to deal with the minion wave that you push to the turret, they will be at a disadvantage on another lane so your team will take advantage of that and take objectives such as towers, vision or neutral monsters. When team fights happen you have to make sure that your <b>Destiny</b> is used well since if you position it wrong you will die instantly and will not do anything good for your team during that fight. If <b>Destiny</b> is well positioned then you will be able to dish out a lot of damage and crowd control. It’s better to use red card when there’s no enemy chasing you so that you can damage more enemies at once and also slow them, but if a priority target is near you or if you are being chased by an enemy assassin or fighter then you should use gold card to stop them while dealing a considerable amount of damage. During the late game <b>Twisted Fate</b> has enough damage to burst marksmen with no magic resistance, but that depends on if <b>Stacked Deck</b> is charged and ready to land because it deals a lot of damage, <b>155 + 0.5*AP</b> which in combination with P<b>ick a Card</b>’s gold card deals <b>45 + AD + 0.5*AP</b>. This is around <b>300 damage without any Ability Power</b>. Locally developed games such as Role-playing games, MMORPGs and mobile games are very popular in the country. Professional competition surrounding video games, especially real time strategy games, also sees a lot of popularity from Koreans, they even broadcast major tournaments with large prizes on television. There are many big game companies in South Korea, such as <a href="http://www.nexon.net/"><span class="s1"><b>Nexon</b></span></a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hangame"><span class="s1"><b>Hangame</b></span></a> and others, but the most popular game there until recently, Starcraft, was created by Blizzard Entertainment. Given Koreans like real time strategy games, it was easy for League of Legends to become one of the best games there.</div> <div class="p3"> <br /></div> <div class="p1"> <b>LEAGUE OF LEGENDS IN SOUTH KOREA</b></div> <div class="p2"> League of Legends released to the western part of the world in October 2009 and it quickly became one of the most popular video games ever, having fans of the Warcraft 3, Defense of the Ancients map come to play Riot’s new game. After seeing such success, in 2012 the game began to be very popular in the eastern countries as well, such as China and South Korea. Even though the game is older in the west, the Chinese and Korean servers house the most people. <b>By March 2012, the game became the #1 title in Korean PC cafes</b> meaning that the westerners aren’t the only ones who enjoy playing League of Legends very much.</div> <div class="p2"> All servers have their own Championship Series, in Europe and North America it’s called League Championship Series, in Korea it’s <b>League Champions Korea</b> and in China it’s called LoL Professional League. Ever since Season 2, <b>Koreans have been dominant in the eSports scene</b>, being in the finals of all the World Championships and also <b>winning two of them</b>. In Season 2, <b>Azubu Frost</b> was playing the finals against <b>Taipei Assassins</b> and lost, but they still showed great, in Season 3, <b>SKT T1 had won over their Chinese rivals on Royal Club</b> and in Season 4, <b>Samsung Galaxy White beat Royal Club to achieve another World Championship</b> win for Korea. Right now, in Season 5, the teams from <b>LCK</b> are still showing really well, <b>SKT</b> being first again after being in a slump in the fourth season, now they had lost only one match and continue to show increasing potential.</div> <div class="p2"> In season 4, the world championship had multiple buildings assigned to it during the timeframe in which it would be played. The prize for the tournament was 200 million won, around $180.000 back then. The fact that League of Legends became so popular in the Korean culture dispelled the stereotype that if you’re a Korean gamer then you have to play Starcraft.</div> <div class="p1"> <b>LEAGUE OF LEGENDS TEAMS IN KOREA</b></div> <div class="p2"> Teams that are foreign to Korea have seen that Korean players are very good at the game and they are really hard working, so they hired several people such as Huni and ReignOver on Fnatic, Ryu on H2k, H0r0 on Unicorns of Love, LustBoy on Team Solo Mid and Fenix and the World Champion Piglet on Team Liquid to improve their roster and become better teams in the big picture. Not all Korean imports were good though, CLG having played with Seraph and failing miserably, losing many matches and almost going into relegation matches.</div> <div class="p2"> Teams haven’t only hired Korean players, but they have also made their infrastructure alike to the one Koreans have, by hiring game <b>coaches</b>, <b>life coaches</b>, <b>analysts</b> and other staff members to help their players improve and receive more money from tournament winnings while keeping their spot in the League Championship Series.</div> <div class="p2"> The most iconic League of Legends Korean teams are images of their former selves, being remembered as how they were in their prime, when they played the most important matches they have ever had and these teams are: <b>SK Telecom T1</b>, <b>Azubu Frost</b>, called <b>CJ Entus</b> now and <b>Samsung Galaxy White</b>, called <b>Samsung Galaxy</b> now.</div> <div class="p1"> <b>History of SK Telecom T1 </b></div> <div class="p2"> <b>SK Telecom T1</b> is a team that has been around since Season 3 when they had won the <b>World Championship</b>. They have only played bad in the fourth season and now we can safely say that they are in their prime. All Korean teams are improving drastically from what we’ve seen in the past and having only one loss to your name is a huge deal when facing such great players that have trained so hard. Right now, <b>SK Telecom T1</b> is made of <b>Marin</b> in the top lane, <b>Bengi</b> in the jungle, <b>Faker</b> in the mid lane, <b>Bang</b> and <b>Wolf</b> on the bottom lane. They also have two substitutes that they switch around each time they want or have to: <b>T0M</b> and <b>Easyhoon</b>. Each time they swap the players, the whole team plan changes because they are very different from what the players on the starting roster are like. <b>Bengi</b> is a jungler that is more passive and focuses more around farming and taking care of vision, while <b>T0M</b> is more focused on pulling off ganks and making sure that skirmishes are on his team’s terms, by being the deciding factor. In the middle lane it’s the other way around: <b>Faker</b> is the more aggressive player while <b>Easyhoon</b> is a little more passive. Of course, both of them are great players who know when they have to be more passive or when they should be aggressive, but overall, <b>Faker</b> is the more aggressive player, even if their skill is very alike. Besides the substitutes, the team’s other players are also great: <b>Marin</b> is the player who almost never loses his lane, not even when the enemy team initiates a lane swap; he always stays ahead of his counterpart and when the lanes swap back to normal he starts bashing them and thus increasing his advantage by a good margin. <b>Bang</b> and <b>Wolf</b> are two players that play really well when together, being able to beat other bot lanes in 2 versus 2 scenarios and also being able to farm safely when the enemy team focuses their strength on them to make <b>Bang</b> be behind his counterpart. Back then it was made of <b>Shy</b>, <b>Rapid Star</b>, <b>Cloud Templar</b>, <b>Woong</b> and <b>Mad Life</b>. After they changed<b>Locodoco</b> for <b>Woong</b>, they had been sponsored by <b>Azubu</b> and from their former name as <b>MiG Frost</b>they had it change to <b>Azubu Frost</b> and later the same year they had won <b>the first place at Azubu The Champions Summer 2012</b> and after that they had qualified for the <b>World Championship</b> where they had a great showing. They had the shortest straw in the random drawing to determine group stage byes and they had to play in the group stage against <b>Invictus Gaming</b>, <b>SK Gaming</b> and <b>CLG Prime</b>.<b>Azubu Frost</b> wasn’t stopped by the group stage, advancing further into the quarterfinals where they had to face <b>Team Solo Mid</b>. They beat <b>TSM</b> easily and looking unbeatable, they advanced into the semifinals where they had to play against <b>CLG.Eu</b>. The European team had ended <b>Azubu Frost</b>’s winning spree by winning a game against them, but after that win they had lost 2 times in a row, thus making <b>Azubu Frost</b> advance into the finals against <b>Taipei Assasins</b>. Unfortunately for the Korean squad, their reign of dominance would end there as the <b>Taipei Assassins</b> brought home the championship with a 3-1 victory. <b>Azubu Frost</b> settled for second place and a $250,000 dollar prize.</div> <div class="p2"> They are one of the most known Korean teams because Season 2 was the first time the Koreans got to play League of Legends with a really high viewer count and it made them really popular as great players from Europe and North America had lost against them.</div> <div class="p2"> Right now, they are still one of the best teams in Korea, but they seem rather sloppy right now compared to the other Korean teams, even if they are on a good place in the standings and they might get to the World Championship this year.</div> <div class="p1"> <b>History of Samsung Galaxy White</b></div> <div class="p2"> <b>Samsung Galaxy White</b> is a Korean team that was formerly known as <b>MVP Ozone</b>. The team was made of <b>Looper</b>, <b>PawN</b>, <b>DanDy</b>, <b>Imp</b> and <b>Mata</b>. The team had been to two World Championships, once in Season 3 and second in Season 4. During Season 3 they had lost in the group stages to teams such as <b>Fnatic</b> and <b>Gambit Gaming</b>. They had the same amount of wins as <b>Gambit</b>, but they lost the tiebreaker and had came out as 9th-10th along with <b>Lemondogs</b>.</div> <div class="p2"> After another season of playing together and after swapping dade with <b>PawN</b>, they had gone second in <b>OGN Champions Summer 2014</b>, but they qualified to the <b>World Championship</b> by earning enough points. <b>Samsung Galaxy White</b> has been seeded into Group A along with <b>Edward Gaming</b>, <b>Ahq e-Sports Club</b> and <b>Dark Passage</b>, and they had never lost a game, getting coming out of the group stage as 6-0. In the quarterfinals they had to play against <b>Team Solo Mid</b> to which they lost a single game and had the next 3 games be stomps. In the semifinals they faced their sister team, <b>Samsung Galaxy Blue</b>, who were the favorites to win the championship, but White managed to beat them 3-0 and go on into the finals to fight against <b>Starhorn Royal Club</b> for the grand prize. They beat <b>Royal Club</b> 3-1 and took the prize home for <b>Korea</b>.</div> <div class="p2"> After they won the <b>Season 4 World Championship</b>, the players had left the team, all of them moving to Chinese teams because of the higher salaries they would receive. <b>DanDy</b> and <b>Mata</b> went to <b>Vici Gaming</b>, Imp was hired by <b>LGD Gaming</b>, <b>PawN</b> went to <b>Edward Gaming</b> alongside <b>Deft</b> from<b>Samsung Galaxy Blue</b> and Looper went to <b>Team World Elite Academy</b> only to join <b>Master3</b> alongside<b>Dade</b> later the same month.</div> <div class="p2"> <b>Samsung Galaxy White isn’t the only team to disband because the players went to China, their sister team, Samsung Galaxy Blue, did the same thing</b>, Acorn going to LGD Gaming, Spirit going to Team World Elite, Heart being hired by Vici Stand Gaming only to move to Unlimited Potential later the same month. Dade went to Team World Elite Academy, but went to Masters3 later and Deft went to Edward Gaming.</div> <div class="p2"> Right now, <b>Samsung Galaxy</b> is made of <b>CuVee</b>, <b>Eve</b>, <b>Crown</b>, <b>Fury</b> and <b>Luna</b> and they aren’t doing so well, being on the 7th place in the standings and might get relegated into the lesser championship series, where they would have to play for a spot back into the <b>LoL Championship Series</b> where they would need to win games to keep their spot and not be relegated again.</div> <div class="p2"> <br /></div> <br /> <div class="p2"> In conclusion, Korea adopted League of Legends from the beginning of it’s service to Korea and they got really good at it right at the start, being able to show up big in the World Championships.</div>
